This Is the Very beginning of a Morrowind expansion, which adds an island (1 MAIN island, and several small ones) known as "The Blackened Isles". progress won't be fast, but it will be steady, hopefully.  It is an island with a few small neighboring islands. its weather is similar to the weather near earths equator. Hot and moist. many creatures are only native to here, but some are smuggled out.  The Frozen Cliffs region is an area with strangely Inclimate weather. freezing cold, and snowing. i may get some people to help me with things i cant do. such as animation for custom creatures.
ill post my work on the bottom of this page when I'm working on it.

Keep that in mind, please. We really do need all the help we can get.

For those working on this mod with me, i updated the developers page with some concepts.

i just made a HUGE decision about the future of this project. i also updated the main map with it.
first we are going to make a small island, named "Burnt Isle", it will be north/north east of the blackened isles, and we will make it just to make sure we can do this. this is a map of Burnt Isle:

this, i realized, is a good warm up to the project itself, so what do you think? its about the size of the BlackWood Isle, so its not amazingly large..

here are the names of everything:
Burnt Isle:
-Varaano Grove is a large island northwest of Burnt Isle. known for its fields and prime farmland, this is an island for the wealthy. many authors of the many books in Tamriel live on this island.

-Pon'San is a small village. formerly HavenTown, it was renamed because most inhabitants didn't like the name. now many Khajiit live here, many are poor, or thieves. This town has burned to the ground a few times in the past 20 years, making it undesirable.

-Lake Tas'Me is a large lake in the middle of the island. sightings of lake monsters are common here, but nothing has proven they are there. This lake is full of fish, making it a very popular place to live near.

-Tel Sen'tiis is a small fishing village. full of vacation homes that are left empty in the colder months. this town is mostly fisherman. a lighthouse lights up the sky to help guide ships to the village.

-Vos Fanos is a coastal city with a harbor. ships go south to the blackened isles, and east to Vvardenfell. fish here are scarce, and the waters are very safe. a large lighthouse sits right on the end of the peninsula.  Docks    <--Newly Added

-Sos-naan is a western town. its the guard capitol of the island, so if you are on the lamb, don't come here. dominated by Telvanni architecture, this town is as busy as can be, and has a large market district. woman love it here.

Here are the descriptions of the locations here:

-Fort Wet-dust is named for the constant mist that sweeps the area. it looks like dust blowing around, but it soaks you to the bone. it houses guards of an unknown race, in a spellcasters armor. magic symbols cover everything in that fort.

-Tatsiin is a small coastal trade and fishing village. full of khajiit and argonians, it seems foreign compared to any other cities on the Isles. named for a rare fish found nowhere else, it seems to attract fisherman and hunters. travel to Vvardenfell is available here.

-BlueVine Isle is a small vineyard off the coast of Tatsiin. contains several small villages which all plant and harvest a rare crop known as "the fruit of the blackroot". boats travel here from Vvardenfell and Tatsiin.

-Frozen Cliff Region (blackwood island) is an inclimate part of the Blackened Isles. snowing year-round. the barren landscape makes it hard to tell ground from sky. both white constantly. sometimes storms from here poor over into the mainland of the blackened isles.

-Winter-Seam is the name of a series of bridges connecting BlackWood island to the mainland of the blackened isles. the series of bridges resembles a seam in clothing.

-The Unknown Region is largely unexplored. myths surround every inch of this land. large creatures swooping from the sky, to wild khajiit and Nord tribes. Lights flash above the land. wild creatures roam around, but rarely leave this area. while no other creatures ever enter. only the hardiest of adventurers dare to enter this area.

-The Moga-San Temple is located just outside of the unknown region, and was built by Dunmer long before recorded history, and is believed to be inhabited by strange inbred Dunmer.

-Soft Island is almost impossible to walk on. it consists of a buildup of a strange plant that looks solid but isn't. if you step on it, you sink in instantly. Dunmer guards try to keep anybody out.

-Dosas-Maan is a small local village. a tight-knit community of high-elves live here, and they don't particularly like dark-elves (also known as Dunmer). Make sure you are nice to them, or they won't bother associating with you.

-Crescent Isle is a crescent shaped island just south of BlueVine Isle. mostly wilderness, only 1 small city is on it. that city is inhabited mostly by Orcs. they usually attack on site. These Orcs do actually have a very rare mineral, with which they make there armor. The RubWood armor is made of a tough, light material known as Tonasthiis. it is very rare, and only 5 sets of armor exist. all owned by these Orcs.

-Vaan is a man-made island. crafted out of blocks of marble, and built by khajiits enslaved by the Imperial Legion. this city isn't in its days of glory. falling apart and some areas completely gone. this is the city of the Fort Wet-Dusts mystery race. their god "Vaan-Atasii" is said to have convinced the Imperials to build it.

-The capital city of Taasani is just west of Vaan. A large city that has tall walls surrounding it. a large palace is located in the center. the ruler of the isles resides in it. rich in history, almost every race lives here. Orcs tend to stay away, but some quite enjoy its hustle and bustle style. has its own architectural style, which makes it instantly recognizable. its market district has the most variety in products, and usually has cheaper prices.
here is its concept

-FrostGrave is an ancient burial ground that is still preserved today by the guards at fort wet-dust. all the dead are buried here, and most are in walk-in tombs. making them easy to rob.

-Vartiin is a large town in the southern part of the island. mostly inhabited by dark elves and Bretons, its the only city with Bretons in it, due to its large amount of mages. has magical transportation to any other town in the isles.

-Moon-Hearth is a small town within which most people study the stars and planets. also contains the only library with every book available in the isles. if you have a question on any natural occurrence or natural phenomenon, ask around here.

-Vola-San is a city overlooking Lake WoodRot. a fishing village that makes its living off of a small flesh-eating fish. it is best seasoned with a little Tomaan leaves, and broiled over a BlackWood log, lit on fire. fishing is available to you if you buy a rod from the barterers.
here is its concept

-Zaan-Mus Mountain is just north of Elsa-Naar, and is the tallest mountain in all of eastern Tamriel. it is rumored that strange locals live on top and have constructed a tomb for all who die while climbing this mountain.

-The Manosa River runs south from Zaan-Mus Mountain, and is crystal clear. some say a strange creature travels up the river yearly, but it has never been proven. Flows straight to the Asatian Sea.

-Elsa-Naar is a city just north of the coast. The Manosa River runs through the center of town, which is why the town is suspended high above ground. contains a statue of the god "Naar-Fosa".

-Lake WoodRot is a lake full of fish. one of the main lakes when selling fish.

-MorningStone island (formerly mace island) is a big island inhabited by wild khajiit and argonians. a large tower with a huge torch on top is used to guide ships to shore, and to stop them from crashing.

Armor List:
-Lord Umbgroths Armor was the armor of a seemingly invincible adventurer, whose last hours were spent being tortured in a cave in the frozen cliffs region. his armor is said to have supernatural qualities.

Weapon List:
-the god "Vaan-Atasii" was said to have crafted a sword with amazing power. a dark-elf named jabiib stole it, and  placed it at the end of a cave somewhere in the frozen cliff region. the sword is on a pedestal inscribed with daedric short-hand, it reads "The Great sword of Vaan-Atasii."

-Elsa-Naar Razor is a hand-crafted dagger from the southern city of Elsa-naar. it is rumored to be able to cut through anything, as long as you have the skill to use it.

Flora List:
-found mainly on battlefields and other places with many deaths, the Blood Vine is blood red in color. it absorbs blood to live, and because of this, it is toxic. if you eat it, prepare to feel sick.

-Found southwest of Taasani, the flogran flower is rich in taste, and it heals you, and makes you feel good. its bright blue in color, and its a very large flower.
Concept

-Found throughout The north-west region of the island, the Heart-Thorn bears a valuable fruit, but its almost impossible to get at. Thorns cover the barrier-branches.
Concept

-Found in the southern-most parts of the Island, the Candle Blossom gives off light through its fruit. The glowing is caused by a glowing insect that feasts on the fruit and lives inside.
Concept

Misc:

-A well from blue vine isle
-A book from a strange cult
